ERPNext Functional Consultant

An ERPNext Functional Consultant bridges business needs with technical solutions, managing full-cycle implementations, configuring modules (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, HR), conducting UAT, and providing user training. They require strong knowledge of business processes, ERPNext/Frappe framework, and 2-4 years of experience to map client workflows into the system

Requirements Gathering & Process Mapping: Analyze client business processes and document requirements (BRD/FSD) to design tailored ERPNext solutions.

Configuration & Implementation: Configure ERPNext modules including Finance, CRM, Buying, Selling, Stock, and Projects.

Data Migration & Testing: Lead data migration from legacy systems and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Customization Coordination: Work with developers to define requirements for custom scripts, print formats, and reports.

Training & Support: Prepare SOPs/documentation and provide post-go-live training and support.

ERPNext Expertise: Proven experience with ERPNext implementation and the Frappe framework.

Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes such as Accounting (IFRS/local VAT), Inventory Management, and Manufacturing.

Technical Familiarity: Understanding of data imports, REST APIs, and ability to troubleshoot functional issues.

Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field.

Preferred Experience

Prior implementation experience with Odoo, SAP FICO, or Oracle Financials.

Experience with server scripts or Python-based customization in ERPNext.

Experience in high-volume retail or manufacturing environments.
